Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Balloon Dragons are so named because they are filled with a gas that makes them almost lighter than air, similar to balloons. However, they are not prone to bursting, as they are covered in tough skin and can deflate themselves if necessary. In addition, they generally are slow moving. They use their gas bladders to float to the tops of trees, where food is more abundant. They can shift their weight from their backs to their fronts, allowing them to reach leaves and fruit.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
This dragon belongs to a breed long believed to be extinct. His breed was known to live long, even by dragon standards, and to change their appearance and personality from time to time, mimicking other breeds. Although he never tells someone his real name, he is now known to the dragons of the clan as "The Pompous Eyecancer".
In a return to former glory, this dragon's ego seems to have totally recovered from his last body. Surpassing even his fourth incarnation's incredible assertiveness, this dragon has now grown so confident that he can only be called arrogant and brash. He also argues vehemently (and loudly) that the Balloon dragon form he now sports is the pinnacle of aesthetics and beauty which often leads to giggling behind his back.
