Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blinded Seer's power manifested itself in a strange way from the day she was born. Instead of causing people just to daydream and fantasize, she can cause them to become infatuated or fall in love, which in its way is just like daydreams and fantasy. Under her influence, she can manipulate the ties between two creatures of the opposite genders, but once she leaves their presence they go right back to feeling about the other creature as they did before. She is known by the nicknames The Matchmaker and The Love-Caster. Dragons with mates and married humans stay away from her for fear she will cause them to stray in ways they shouldn't. Because of her strange powers, people in nearby villages have started to incorporate her into their local legends and she has started to become somewhat of a deity in their minds, even though she is nothing but a normal daydream dragon in other respects. She has made some very strange match-ups just for her own enjoyment.
