Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It loves to chase butterflies.

And look, it has grown wings that release a faint, spicy scent when it waves them. It must be nearly mature.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Cho Cheisa is a cute little Black Tea Dragon. She has just recently grown her wings and because of this, she has only just begun attracting butterflies to the scent that comes from the gland just under them. She loves the flitting little bugs and finds them such fun to watch and chase about. When she manages to catch one, she eats it, savoring the body as it is nice and juicy compared to the powdery wings.

Her name means 'Butterfly Chaser'.
