Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems very protective.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Riib is the second Guardian of Nature to be summoned in this group and is special as he was frozen to prevent him from growing and thus giving him a gift to remain young and cheerful without having tough stress in his life. The Turpentine hatchling, Njozi, is the one to suggest the name for him and her adopted father, Pisces, is the one to explain the meaning. Mlezi agrees to it and the baby becomes Riib. Like Mlezi before him, Riib is placed under the wing of Heimdall who teaches him all he knows, unlike Mlezi though, Riib has more free time since he doesn't have pressure of growing up. Riib likes to spend his free time exploring or playing with the other hatchlings, but he feels a closeness to the desert dragons who named him.
