Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s brightly colored and chirps quite often.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Rubinte is a soft-spoken young dragon, unlike her best friend and 'fake' brother, Lil Syzzle. She tries her best not to get in trouble with Big Syzzle and Kolinaa, the parent-like figures in her life. She realizes that her 'older brother' is enough of a handful for the two adult dragons. Rubinte just wants to make life as easy for Big Syzzle and Kolinaa.
