Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Powerful magi pyromancers aren't especially rare, but there are rumors of an elite group who makes even these look like amateurs: the dragons of Fireflood Weyr. Located in the side of an active volcano and protected by numerous guards and spells, the weyr is only open to those with enough fire magic to overcome the challenges presented by the weyr's leaders.

Dragons who get past the weyr's three leaders must still face Pyromancer, whose skill in fire magic remains unsurpassed by any known living dragon. No dragon has yet defeated her in honest combat, but she considers any candidate worthy who can at least impress her with their talents. Pyromancer is surprisingly jovial, laughing and joking with her opponents, and refuses to become one of the weyr's leaders because she feels that leadership is no fun whatsoever.
