Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aaron Lua is focused, aware of his surroundings, responsible, serious, disciplined, strong, loyal and a dragon of few words. Because Aaron is nocturnal, likes the coasts so much and has an orb with such a bright light he has been given the responsibility to be the "lighthouse" near the shores. Aaron's orb light can be seen miles away even deep underwater. He guides his marine clan members to their safe territory where the rest of the clan lives when night falls. He takes his task seriously and stands his post faithfully every night. He also signals a different light when he spots danger, warning his clan. He likes to walk on the beach collecting shells which he gives to females during mating seasons to court them. He has a huge collection of white shells which he keeps for himself and likes to make beautiful and creative sand sculptures when he is of post. He does wants to see other places but because of his duty he can't leave the shores. Females in his clan think he's handsome.
