Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
As a member of the Weyr of the Moon, Lullmoon worships the Moon and Her Speaker, whose visions from the Moon dictate the lives of the dragons under Her protection in the Valley of the Moon. Lullmoon believes in the moon fervently, and so she tries to follow Her orders without complaint.
But even so, she likes to take long flights. She's a scout, so this is to be expected, but after her hatchling was grown, when her ordained mate turned away from her, her loneliness drove her further than was permitted. She only wanted to stretch her wings, feel free.
She met a Silver dragon outside the Valley one night, his body scarred and wounded. She should have left him to perish, but instead she visited him in secret for weeks, helping him heal so he could slip away.
Then, an egg. Gleaming Silver, a beacon of Lullmoon's traitorous love. If it were found...
She gave it to the river that flows through and out of the Valley, and prayed it would be saved, and loved. She never left the Valley again.
