Coastal Waverunners spend most of their time skimming the waves along the coast, snatching up their prey from the shallow waters. They have developed markings along the leading edges of their body that help disguise them as breaking waves. When they are not hunting, they enjoy playing among sand-dunes and shallow tide-pools. These dragons live in small but noisy rookeries. Some stories say Waverunners can fly for days on end without landing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aranea Serket is a very... ambitious dragon, to say the least. She'll go to any lengths to fulfill her goals, even sacrificing her friends and family for it. She says that she's lived for so long in her dreams, time has no meaning to her. She can't die. She can take a million years to fulfill one goal—it doesn't matter to her.

She says that, being born under the star sign of Scorpio, she's one of those legendary Serkets—dragon-pirates that used to pillage the land and steal money and food and slaves from all dragons, no matter what they looked like or their social class.

Aranea calls herself a Serket, and she is one, to the fullest. She tries to fill the greatest Serket's shoes—those of Marquise Spinneret Mindfang, long gone by now. Her trips take her flying all over the land to capture territory and treasure.

She holds on to the past much more tightly than other dragons do. It's almost odd, but understandable.

Aranea is a Serket, after all.
