Balloon Dragons are so named because they are filled with a gas that makes them almost lighter than air, similar to balloons. However, they are not prone to bursting, as they are covered in tough skin and can deflate themselves if necessary. In addition, they generally are slow moving. They use their gas bladders to float to the tops of trees, where food is more abundant. They can shift their weight from their backs to their fronts, allowing them to reach leaves and fruit.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Flow With The Sky is always being teased just because of her large round shape body. She always goes back to her territory once she has enough food to last for all of the dragons for a year. When it is mating season, she demands the male to find another male so the two males will have a contest to see who can get leaves more swiftly, quietly, and more strongly than she sees. She also demands from the two males to find her the best honey, tree sap, leaves, rocks, and stones so she can keep the eggs warm and eat the food she has for her and the territory. Once she has a mate, she mates with him for three years. After those three years she wonders in thought if she accepts to keep him for her life or not. The male has to prove himself when the last three days are here and he has to do the same contest. The male might cheat and put traps or find the slowest balloon dragon, so Flow With The Sky keeps a sharp eye and looks at both males directly in the eye so she can see if the male has cheated.
