Water Walkers are small dragons that are frequently found around bogs and ponds. While they are flightless, they retain the flight sacs and hollow bones of their airborne cousins. These traits, coupled with their extraordinarily long, webbed toes, allow them to stand on top of calm waters, using their small sails to propel them wherever they please. They spend the majority of their lives on the water, retreating to the tops of lily pads when the waters become too rough to float atop.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

True to his name, the Frog Prince is a cursed prince in the shape of a dragon. At least, that's what he'd like to think. He's really not, but ever since he was a hatchling, he's had the idea that he really is a human turned into a Water Walker. As a result of this, he tries his best to act like a person, even going far enough to spy on the occasional passerby that come near his pond. The Prince is a gentleman and will be polite to anybody, even if they really don't deserve it. He's also under the illusion that if he gets kissed by a maiden of innocence and purity of heart, his 'curse' will be broken and he will be restored to his true form.

Some of the crueller dragons of the horde just think he's crazy and can't cope with the fact that he's not particularly attractive, in addition to being small.
