White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When her weyr was destroyed by a desipis, Yuoor was away tending to a medical emergency. She returned too late to save anyone, even her aegis mate. Yuoor believed that Cademm had perished as well until rumors of an enraged aegis terrorizing the area began to spread. She follows Cademm to this day, trying to break him free from the desipis without catching its attention. Though she has had no luck in freeing Cademm so far, she is heartened by her success in limiting the harm her desipis-controlled mate can cause. She can't confront her mate head-on and survive, but she can evacuate villages and weyrs ahead of his path.
