Deep Sea Dragons, as their name suggests, spend most of their time in the darkest depths of the sea. They have a bioluminescent dorsal spine that serves to attract prey and communicate with their own kind. As with many deep sea animals, they generally eat whatever they can manage to bait. They rarely leave the ocean floor, surfacing only during breeding season. When they do choose to travel to the shallower depths, they avoid bright lights and will only come up far away from shore.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The pod of hatchlings that Yodelidoodle had grown up with had split up. He was exploring the ocean alone for the first time when a strong current unexpectedly carried him close to the shore of a small island.

The curious young dragon peeked out of the water to look at the green hills and forests. He noticed movement on one of the hills and swam even closer to see what it was. Soon he made out a group of small, four-legged animals covered in pink fur. They definitely were not dragons, but still, Yodelidoodle was intrigued and stayed near the shore to observe them for a while. They were playing the strangest game: they ran up the hill, and as soon as they arrived at the top, they dropped to the ground and rolled down the hill, squeaking happily.

Eventually, Yodelidoodle returned to deeper waters where he belonged. However, since that day, he keeps wondering what it would feel like to roll down a hill just like those weird pink creatures, and sometimes he even dreams about it at night.
