Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Eternity is a cold, collected Grave dragoness and the living proof to the saying "looks can be deceptive". Either a blessing or a curse, she is stuck in a hatchling body, although she claims to be at least a hundred years old. Her condition hasn't stopped her magical capabilities from developing; thus, she was able to establish her position in the flight as one of the most powerful magic users. The downside is that she is physically weak and is a pushover when faced with brute strength or a magic-weakening field. Her only way around that is to put on an act when around other dragons. Eternity is a turncoat, ready to do whatever is beneficial to her. Her markings are much more vibrant than other Grave hatchlings'; rumour has it that she traps the souls of those who betray her by burning them alive.
