Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Goldenshatter is a truly magnificent dragon. He is well respected but kind, strong but gentle. He is the leader of the Gold Dragon Tribe. He himself had a hard past, losing his entire family only a few years after his hatching. He managed to find his way here, to the Dragon Isles where he grew up, and vowed to spend the rest of his life helping others. He never turns away dragons in need of help. He is the leader of the most respected Division- The Freewings. The Freewings are a group of dragons of all sorts who keep the Dragon Isles in check. They assist the weak, rescue those in danger, and make sure no evil finds a home on the Dragon Isles. Goldenshatter is a talented fighter alongside his many other talents. He is looked up to by the vast majority of young hatchlings, all of which aspire to be like him one day.
