Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Every time the sun rises, Moon Hearts rises with it. She looks as pretty as ever when she awakens. The townspeople say that Moon Hearts is pretty because the sun shines on her beautiful scales casting a beautiful glow. One day people filled with greed wanted to take her for the scales and the money they could get out of it. So one morning the people came to take her; she saw and began to scream. The scream was so loud the people began to run away and the ears were bleeding. Most of the townspeople woke up to the sound. The children that heard the sound began to cry. Moon Hearts saw and began to sing a heavenly song that made the children stop and dance or sing with the sweet low tone.
