Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

And look! Its back legs have become a second set of wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

WingedLove is a talented Skywing Dragon hatchling who finds constant inspiration in her environment. She makes amazing clay sculptures, carefully bringing a heavy load in a bucket designed for her by DreamsTwoKnight, a talented Two Headed Dragon Inventor. She can't carry too much weight, and has to make several trips before she has enough to create with. She manipulates the clay using a very special tool, also inveneted by DreamsTwoKnight, which she holds in her tail. Her clay creations are heated evenly by WingsOfFire, an adult Red Dragon who gets more statues from WingedLove than anyone else.
