Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Confident and outgoing, Rowenna lives life in the fast lane (literally). Extremely competitive, she will race anyone, anywhere, anytime. Though much good can come from her qualities, it often lands her in trouble; most of which is fighting with her fellow competitors who often become aggravated with her obnoxious, publicly-vocalized confidence.

She was quite the loner until, one night, she met a black dragon crossing through her territory. Naturally Rowenna challenged the other female to a race...but she refused!!! Her pride insulted, Rowenna labeled this strange foreigner as boring, but upon being called so the stranger unleashed a swath of magic. Rowenna, for the first time, was humbled by the demonstration. She then asked why the black dragon, named ShadowLight, was traveling in her territory, the foreign dragon's answer was: "I travel the world, following the moon". Being further impressed, Rowenna joined ShadowLight on her journey, not for the moon, but for the adventure.
