Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Soaring into the sky with majestic golden wings, this dragon loves to dance in the sky higher up, where the sun can bathe his scales. Mist of Gold was given up by his owner when he was a hatchling, tied up to a tree with a leash. Another owner quickly took him in, raising him, and teaching him how to become a real dragon.

Born with flying skills, but not having wings at the moment, Mist of Gold used to stare into the sky, longing for wings, until finally, one morning, when he woke up, two golden wings were folded up at his sides. Since then, he had been flying high in the sky.

Mist of Gold gets along with every dragon, especially Green, Guardian, and Stone dragons. In fact, the only breed he doesn't get along with well are the Horses, because of a certain incident that happened years ago.
