Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Napir is the major researcher on submission spells in the Brotherhood of the Blood Moon. Dedicated to the bringing of peace to all dragonkind Napir has no qualms whatsoever to kill even the tiniest little spark of so-called free will to achieve the order's goal. While some of his brothers think that true peace can only be achieved through converting dragons to their faith, Napir scoffs at those soft-hearted fools. This kind of weak-minded thinking only shows that they are lacking the spine to do what's best. After all he does nothing but take away a dragon's desire for violence and aggression, so he can't see how that could be wrong.
