Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Karok prefers to live completely in the water. Her egg was found many years ago by several childless water dragons. Not willing to go through the hectic process that is finding a mate and having their own eggs, the waters adopted the black egg. Surprisingly, Karok's egg hatched normally underwater, though she almost perished immediatly from lack of air. The water dragons, finally realizing how hard it would be to take care of a child that wasn't the same species as them, tried to chase her off. But they were stuck with Karok. She had already imprinted on them and believed that they were her parents. Karok was raised as a water dragon and to this day she firmly believes she is one. Though she cannot live under the water, she swims from place to place and can hold her breath for a long time. The first black dragon she saw tried to convince her to come back to the black dragon clan with him, but as Karok and the other black dragon looked nothing alike, she ignored him and swam off.
