Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Desert Racer is often seen with Duneracer, though isn't as competitive and tends to stay closer to the Ramkin Clan's home. He likes to run, though it's mostly to clear his head and out of enjoyment.

He's interested in finding a mate though usually doesn't try very hard and thinks he's too small and frail to 'get the girl'.

Occasionally babysits Sckitzo Shoulder Dragon when Silver Warbler gets fed up with him.
