Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kokusho of the Evening Star is the elder of the Blood Bonded. Fierce and loyal till the end, he is the reckless sort who puts his life on the line in any battle. For his allies and friends there is nothing he won't do till death and beyond. Kokusho of the Evening Star will deliver the Blow of Mercy with his last breath to give his allies the strength to carry on. His signature move is a fast assent to the limit of his flight ability and a heedless crash to the Earth, crushing all in his wake.

His closest companion is Catacomb; together they quest for riches and glory. He is currently infatuated with The Kat's Revenge but has known many mates. His current co-mates are the noble Quartzia and the courteous Hweitsa.
