Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Galletian Galileo, or Gali, is a strong dragon, devoid of magic trickery but able to hold his own in a fight. However, he isn't the least fierce. Serviceable and perfectly polite, he defers to the other dragons of the Dusk Divide Dragon Keep. He is gentle but aloof, and he's broken many a female's heart with his coldness without realizing it. Even so, he maintains a red nebula mate, who changes according to his preferences and how young they are.
