Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Adorjan claims no territory but the wind, and gives no loyalty save to herself. Unlike many Thunder dragons, her flight is utterly silent, for she holds her lightnings in check until some unfortunate or incautious soul has attracted her by making a sound audible from the heights. It's in pursuit of sound that she flies, endlessly circling the mountains and cave, an eerie presence. Silence falls beneath the shadow of her wings, lest a stray noise should attract her attention, and with it, her thunder. Whatever drives her, part of it is loss—loss of something near and dear to her, and perhaps the reason she no longer speaks or even sings.

On the rare occasion that she does roar, she accelerates to her fullest speed and chases the sound of her own voice, stretching her wings as wide as she can and summoning storms that send the other dragons racing for shelter.
