Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Lu Scintillula was hatched alone, but was soon found and raised by a pack of wolves just off of the alpine region. Though she wasn't a hunter, she was a wonderful companion for the group. She healed the wolves that were ever so dear to her heart, for some humans were cruel enough to curse such majestic creatures. This allowed many wolf packs to get the idea that dragons can be good, and can become something worth fighting for.
Her bond with her "family" began to decline once she reached adulthood, becoming more and more interested in her own kind. Lu's mark is still left on many wolves' hearts, allowing the popularity of wolf-dragon relationships to grow even farther.
