Mistlet Pygmies thrive in humid environments and are most content when frolicking in the rain or fog. The cheerful demeanor they exhibit provides a remarkable contrast to their shadowy appearance, bringing joy in otherwise gloomy environments. Mistlets are an especially beautiful sight in long summer evenings, as their streak of vibrant scales catch the fading sunlight. They spend a great deal of their time foraging for edible roots and insects, and sometimes enjoy treats in the form of small fish or frogs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

Yvuga loves the humidity of the swamp but is a bit scared of the dark. She usually stays near the boundaries of the swamp and, though it isn't that hot and wet there, it's enough for Yvuga. She likes to visit people in there not far from the swamp houses and usually gets inside through windows and hangs around until she is noticed. If people react pleasantly to her visit and give her something, like food, Yvuga will always be nice to them, but if humans try to shoo her or worse—make dogs chase her away, she will return when no one is home and make mischief. There has been a rumor that Yvuga even set one house on fire because the humans made their dogs chase her until they caught and wounded her.
