Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yogan loves to swim, but unlike other breeds of dragons, she swims in the magma river that flows just outside of her cave. Her cave is located on the side of an active volcano where she was born, hatched and raised. She loves the warmth of the lava and enjoys sitting on the warm rocks near the top of the volcano. She goes to the plains west of her volcanic home to hunt the buffalo that run there, but she only has to bring one back every month even though she shares her cave with some other dragons because she only eats small bits of her kill when she feeds and the other dragons are crimson pygmys.

Her name means molten lava.
