Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A refugee from (perhaps kinder) dragon justice, this dragon somehow made his way to Kad's clan instead, hiding his scarred face between dozens of others scarred by entertainment. He had been on the run so long that he had forgotten his name; after a few centuries of dodging his due, he only knew himself as "wanted" from the posters displaying his likeness. The clan dragons have no idea of his history. They are always happy to have another good fighter to bet on in weekly ring fights, a hobby Wanted has taken to with gusto. The mock fights allow him to express his violent tendencies without reverting to his old behavior. Even Kad's relatively free-thinking dragons would probably object to some of their own being turned into mutilated corpses.
