Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Revenge of Mjolnir, or Revenge for short, has become a Queen of the clan. Alongside Blood of the Dying Star, she takes command over all others. She has a kind nature to hatchlings but is hostile to any dragons (that she has found to be a threat) not belonging to the clan over which she rules. Most days she spends watching the skies for thunder and lightning when she is not watching over the rest of the clan's inhabitants. Her roar has been a feared sound to many dragons outside the cave, but the males that live in the clan she rules find it attractive, though Nidhogg's Fury is the only one she has grown close to and is considered her mate. She is responsible for the amazing cracks of lightning in the middle of the hurricanes that pass over the cave and for that, she has become respected by all in the clan.
