It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Marisu, the recipient of as much scorn as envy, is said to be flawlessly beautiful, impossibly graceful, and absolutely perfect at everything she does, from saving the world to attracting a mate. What those telling the stories don't realize is that this is only Marisu's stage persona, and a distortion of it, at that. Like Symmegim, a white dragon who is also a performer at Roaring Lion Productions, Marisu had the misfortune to have a very early role dominate her entire acting career and her public perception. For Marisu, it's worse, though, as the first play she starred in not only spawned a hundred sequels, but also an outpouring of songs, stories, and poems (most dire) from those who had greatly enjoyed her play. Her role captured the public imagination, and now it's only the worst of the associated works that anyone ever seems to associate with her, to her chagrin. Oddly enough, Garistu, a male lumina in almost the exact same position as Marisu, escaped far more lightly.
