Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When she was still a hatchling this young dragoness loved to hear stories about other places, different clans and their human companions. But when she learned about another Ice named Vexen, infamous for his cruel and murderous ways, repressing all the Ices in his clan, she decided to do her best to help her far away brethren get rid of that monster.

She knew that her children strengthened by the strong healing magic of their father and the moral compass of their mother would have the power to overthrow that callous monster. She begged her clan's human caretaker to befriend the irresponsible human dealing with Vexen's clan, so her baby could reach her destination. And Herk was all too ready to help.

Now it is just a matter of time.
