Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Scarlett is one of the most satisfied dragons of all in her cave. She has straight, shiny scales, the perfect coloring, she has had plenty of children, and all of the factors that makes her happy makes her proud. She is one of the oldest in the cave, as well as the fastest. She has an adept ability to fight when she needs to, and she is an average flier. The only thing she is absolutely exceptional at is running, as her long legs and tail balance her, propelling her forward faster than flying does. She takes long strides and careful steps, and everyone knows it is her when a flurry of mahogany and gleaming sapphire flashes by.
