Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

And look! Its back legs have become a second set of wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Azu is a skywing that was frozen in the first hatchling stage. Overtime, Azu developed into the second and for this skywing, the final stage. His flying has improved, something that was a clumsy act while in the 1st stage. Although he is not as great a flyer as the adults, he will often follow his master's adult skywings Volante and Aerial. Hitching rides on their backs or trying to play tag and grab their tails.<br/>Azu enjoys playing, finding amusement with other hatchlings and birds.
