Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Proud and strong Fieroun took his grandsire's name out of respect for his renowned mastery of fire. Fieroun is a creature of passions and extremes. He prides himself on making bold decisions, that he never looks back upon. While full of courage and spirit Fieroun has a tendency to make mischief where ever he goes. His noble heart has every intention of doing well but he has trouble with the logistics of situations and bullrushes into the fray. His most recent quarrel was with Animusa the "Soul of Ice" as she is known to others. While in the midst of battle, Fieroun decided he liked Animusa, and after a long explanation he was able to appeal to her logical mind. While she regards him as nothing more than a friendnuisance Fieroun's feeling for Animusa have been developing and only time will tell if fire and ice can work together.
