Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lady Hahnuheim is translated into Lady Vision. Her mate, Lord Vulon is trained to be a mage while Lady Hahnuheim is trained to be a great warrior. She and Lord Vulon live in a cave alone. Lady Hahnuheim guards the cave and takes care of her eggs. They take abandoned Black Dragon eggs and take care of them. This couple has the greatest food, Lady Hahnuheim hunts it while Lord Vulon warms it up. Lady Hahnuheim can often be mischievous by killing farm-cows and bringing them back to the cave which isn't very far. Lord Vulan then uses magic to make a fire and they turn it into beef. They saw humans doing this that were camping around the cave and had taken it into knowledge.
