Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ame Diabolique means demonic soul in French. She has a very bad temper, which left her with no friends in life. In fact, she never associates with anyone at all. She has a twisted mind. She bites young dragons and drains them of their blood, and enjoys the suffering they go through while they die. She also enjoys their parents grief from finding them dead.

Her horrible demeanor comes from her terrible childhood. Her egg was found abandoned, and on the brink of death. She was able to hatch, but the newborn hatchling felt betrayed because she had been left to die. Because of this, she hated everyone and everything in the world.

As a hatchling, she'd try to kill any dragon that came near her. She isolated herself from everyone, and usually hid in a cave all day. She would only come out at night to feed on young, unprotected hatchlings. As she grew up, she became more vicious, and would take pleasure in killing dragons young and old. Other dragons try to stay as far away from her as possible.
