Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Heiwateki Kanshisha may just be the most playful guardian dragon you'll ever see. He is quite the cave clown. Always trying to show off for the females. It is quite a sight to see him try and surf lake waves using his tail shield as a surf board. The fact is though, the only way he succeeds is if one of the water dragons gets underneath him and supports his weight with their own body. Luckily for him they usually do. Whenever the weather is warm you will find him out trying to surf to impress the ladies. When it's not warm enough for that he will be found just inside the cave entrance preening at his tail, waxing it if you will, with the myrica cerisfera (candle-wax berries) shrubs he finds on the shoreline. Don't let his relaxed attitude fool you though he is a true guardian dragon at heart, its in his genes. If theres trouble he will defend and shield the others with all his heart.
