Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lightz is a queen of the weather. She could take the power away from humans and use it against them. Lightz has set trees ablaze to protect herself. Lightz was given her power from a wizard, she was his loyal pet. The wizard raised Lightz as a baby dragon. The wizard then tried a spell on her that led to his death. Lightz used the power bestowed upon her by the wizard to strike him with her electric shock. He was scorched and the shock ran through his body killing him shortly after. Lightz then fled to the skies to brew up the storm against the humans. She had lived in a small, dank, and disgusting barn. The wizard locked her up and fed her very little. Humans had no compassion towards Lightz and the wizard used his power against her until he granted her the power of electricity. Lightz has lived in hatred towards humans and used her powers to her fullest ability. She has been uncontrollable since she killed the wizard and was free to soar into the skies.
