Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it...

Now there are even more vines. Perhaps something is happening?

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Yelshnii is an annoying little green dragon. When she's not destroying Orxon's stacks of pebbles or playing tricks on Qauear the Guardian dragon, she'll often tunnel through the earth and dig large pits. She leaves a thin layer of earth covering it, and waits for the adventurous Keezil to come crashing inside. Sometimes she is punished by her mother, Ziaer, but Ziaer rarely leaves her patch of Dragon Grass, so Yelshnii can rest assured that she can get away with nearly everything.

There was that one time, though, when Veldin really took it out on her... but that's a different story. :3
