Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Xibalba was the first dragon to grow up in the cave he lived. Being in this position, he had the chance to win Prudence's heart and could become the eldest among the dragons he lived with. He has many children from Prudence which they took care after together happily. Their firstborn dragon, a purple one was given as present to an other dragon owner, which made Prudence sad, Xibalba furious. He wanted revenge, but he knew his role, cheering up Pru, being beside her—aid her in her sadness. He helped her to lay many other eggs afterwards, and they live happily—hopefully—ever after.

His name, Xibalba is from ancient Maya culture, who named the underworld like this. Being a powerful weather dragon he knew he could make a living hell of the world if he wanted too.
