Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
At last, Flameflow's moment had come. He had finally gathered enough power, enough supporters, and all that was left was to bide his time and perhaps urge King Yule to make his attack. And King Yule did, taking Nightburner, the old leader of the Weyr, completely by surprise. The bloody battle left Nightburner and his followers exiled, and King Yule and his followers weak. It was then that Flameflow and his caveborn dragons attacked, driving out any with lineages longer than two parents. Flameflow, with his mate, Lavabather, at his side, now presides over most of the old territory under the name of the Weyr of Flame.
He still regrets not being able to kill Nightburner or King Yule, or eradicate all their followers, but he knows the day will come when they will try to counterattack, and so prepares for that day with a sort of vicious glee. He rules his new Weyr with a cruel, merciless roar, keeping tight control over his new lands and his fearful subjects.
