Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very curious and fond of sweets.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Skipper Sweetling came to Wayside Haven with his guardian, Charming Self-Made. Skipper hasn't told Charming yet, but he saw a witch doctor right before they left their old home. Skipper knew that Charming had self-esteem issues and was constantly being made fun of by the other winged dragons. In order to create a spell of good luck for Charming, Skipper sold his ability to age to the witch doctor. Why the witch doctor needed something like that, Skipper didn't know. The weirdest part of the whole exchange had to be that the spell actually worked. Both Charming and Skipper have had great luck thanks to the potion. However, Skipper is worried about when their luck will run out.
