Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Chedder, like the other cheeses, is named after what kind of cheese he is made of. He lives in a small cave with the rest of his family, hidden away from slavering mouths lest they be eaten. With no need to sleep or eat, he has had to find ways of passing the time lest he be plagued with eternal boredom. His chosen hobby is pottery, no easy feat for a dragon made out of a substance that can get soggy. His sculptures, while lacking the detail of his sister's carvings, are nonetheless still quite something to see. At times he wishes he could bake his sculptures, but being that he's made of cheese, asking for a fire-breathing dragon's help would be too dangerous.
