White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Alabaster is Rekha Cave's chief healer, and one of the original dragons to settle in the cave.  His fascination for the healing arts is boundless, prompting him to periodically seek out other dragons -- and humans -- in other parts of the world to compare notes on illnesses, injuries, and their treatments.  While he naturally refuses to eat any of the meat caught by the other Rekha Cave dragons, he has asked them to let him examine the anatomies of their kills so that he can come to a better understanding of animal physiology.  The other dragons know better to bring back anything that's even SLIGHTLY still alive, unless they want him to heal it and spirit it away from them.
