Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Mebana is a daughter of Sachio and Ayano, and is definitely a daddy's girl. Her name means "Female Flower" in Japanese. Since Mebana was not raised by Vine dragons, she never developed a nasty temperament. Sure she can be a little moody sometimes, but that's about it. She's a very active dragon, burrowing all over her clearing, and making an intricate network of tunnels. She's a small and stubby little dragon, but she's a great runner when she's in her tunnels. She met her mate Ryokushoku after she decided to establish her territory right next to his. Ryokushoku is pretty laid back, so he was fine with this, especially since it meant being next to a beautiful female Vine. Their tunnels now connect, and they love nothing more than curling up together underground. They love each other so much, and they always will.
