Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Icewing is different from the other Falconiform wyverns. She's more friendly, loving and kind. She still can be rude. She's helping Sun to visit his home only because there are dead dragons and smaller dragons to eat. She goes to Ashenvale on her own to feast on the panicking smaller dragons as she swoops down grasping them with her claws. She's only kind towards her clan-mates. Once she was sitting in a tree stretching her wings when a Sunstone Dragon attacked the clan. Icewing swooped down biting the Sunstone's neck paralyzing it and then snacking on it. Icewing prefers to be alone thinking about her parents that abandoned her. She thinks of her type. But hunts to get her mind off it.
