And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ophelia Harp is the rebellious daughter of two nameless dragons who no one knows much about. Alongside Ophelia not knowing much of her parents or past life, we can't quite trace her origin because she refuses to disclose any known information, and being stubborn, she isn't likely to be persuaded. Unlike the abandoned eggs she was found among, Ophelia left her scroll of dragons by choice as a young hatchling. She was dissatisfied with being trained and told what to do, so she set off to control her own life. However, a young hatchling like herself can't survive without help, and she was adopted several times after running away. Leaving her new scrolls shortly after adoption, she found herself as a mature hatchling in a cave of rejected eggs, dying. It was there where dragon trainer Carolineflower adopted her, and this time she wasn't getting away. Luckily, Ophelia likes her new home as her trainer agreed to let her keep the name she gave herself and fulfilled her request to be frozen.
