Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
LuminaSweetHeart is a Lumina Dragon with a taste for sweets. At first, all she had to satisfy her sweet tooth was honey and berries; but then she wandered into a human village and stole a pie off a windowsill. It was so sweet and so warm and so tasty. LuminaSweetHeart just couldn't get enough. For generations, she stole sweets from nearby human villages, until one day she was caught and locked up for two days as punishment. She learned her lesson quickly. Now LuminaSweetHeart pays for her sweets with gold from her hoard. Once she was hated by human villagers, now they cheer when they see her coming; knowing that she will bring them much wealth in trade for cakes and cookies.
