Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has two tails!

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Star Starer just loves looking at the magnificent stars shining in the black night. She always tries to get her mother to take her flying during the night because as a hatchling she is almost defenseless and is afraid of dangerous night creatures. The times Starer's mother agrees to fly with her daughter, she is asked to let the stars shine through her wings. Marveled by the sight, Star Starer could spend hours looking at it.

She often tries to look through her own wings, but somehow it doesn't work. It's probably because of the frozen state she has been put into that made her wings not as translucent as they are supposed to be.
